As a senior PHP engineer you will:

  • build and maintain scalable features by contributing to our codebase on a daily basis
  • support a Test-Driven Development culture in the team with aiming at a very high coverage
  • enjoy mentoring other developers by sharing your knowledge, pairing with them and doing regular code reviews

Job requirements

  • Strong skills working with PHP using Symfony, with ideally 10 years of experience.
  • Experience in building microservices, ideally deployed in Docker containers on Kubernetes.
  • Solid experience with MySQL.
  • Developed and ran large scale production environments closely with DevOps/SRE.
  • Continuous learner and like to find new ways to do things.
  • A hands-on, can-do attitude.
  • Any experience with Front End technologies (React, HTML, JavaScript) would be a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field from a top university.
  • Able to work within the GMT+1 time zone
  • Nice to have:
  1. AWS experience
  1. Exposure to e-commerce environments
